NYE 2006

Unfortunately, cause of some internet problems, im gonna hafta make this REALLY short...

it's 5 hours to the New Year and i don't really fel different..

By the way, i can't do the quiz joanie... not today anywaes.. hehe...

I'm gonna haf a party at my house tomorrow, so i probably can't blog...

And the taiwan quake isn't making things easier for me either...

so yes... woe, my life is full of misery...

and how lucky SOME people are that THEIR computers work 24/7...

A few things to start with... Firstly, im SORRY for the non-blogging for approx. 5 days.. my computer just went KA-bazooka! (that's steph language for 'it died.')

Im starting to think that my computer hates me.. very badly.. why, you ask?
Well... first my keyboard breaks down on me, then my user account has a problem and now im blogging from the main family account..

why do you have so many computer accounts then, you ask? well, my stupid BROTHER wanted to have HIS own account WITH the administrative rights(meaning only can download things in HIS account..) and all the BAHOOZA.. and i needed a place for all my work.. and my rpg games... so i gots my own account...and then there's the family account.. if you come to my house, you will understand..

that's a whole LOT to digest, you comment.. firstly.. (whoever you are..) i would like to kick you for talking too much.. then i will have to agree with you..

it's tough being in a family where there are 2 electronic geniuses and NOT enough room... it's also tough where the computer prefers your annoyingly sickening brother and 'OMG! the blasted thing is working again!' phrase is said whenever said brother uses the stupid machine.. Of course when you use it, it hangs.. or spoils.. or becomes so incredibly frustrating u wonder why your friends HAVE to go chat online at MSN and not talk to a bored, annoyed ol' you on the phone or something..

it's also tough when all you wanna do is sit back, relax and read some fan fiction and maybe drop a few tears because your life can't be as perfect as the characters in the stories... and ALL the stories happen to published.. (ooo.. guess where??) on the INTERNET!! oh whoopie, joy and fun!

Anyways, there's something wrong with my signature, so i'll probably try to get joan to help.. or something.. hehe...

I had the Sec 4 Farewell thingy yesterday... it was incredibly fun, only i missed the speech-giving part when i was helping ms sia with the charcoal (which caused my hands to become disgustingly black...) Melissa also missed it cuz she was helping too.. poor thing.. at least i experienced it LAST year... mel only has two more year to experience it or else she's gonna miss ALOT... hehe..

Anywaes, i got this watermelon thingy from Cheeri which i think is soo cute! And mel got this bear which eye dropped... hahah.. that part was funny...

The extremely 'high'est part of the day was when ping and i were in the combine room and we were learning the song 'Lean On Me' and we started doing stupid actions.. i was feeling soo high that time.. like i had just take marijuana or pot..

whoo! ok! that's it! i hope jannah comes online soon so i can get the pictures from her..

11th Dec

Do you know that Bullet Train is kinda over-rated? I mean... I thought it was gonna be real cool and all... but, it turned out to be just like riding an MRT... only difference is that when you look out the window, ur going REAL fast....i guess that's the whole point of it anywaes... I bought UNO cards (which cost 1000 yen...) and we played it on the train..We being me, jessie, hannah and joyce (from sax).. Hannah was always the sway one because she ALWAYS (almost always) had to draw 2 or 4 or MORE... depending on how many 'draws' we threw out.. and she was staring at Joyce with this really pissed off face and she went 'WHAT is your PROBLEM??!' haha! very funny lah...

We went shopping at this temple place... at first, they said to turn left cuz that's where the shopping place was... but me, jessie and elaine went straight and into this OTHER place which turned out to have many bargains! And we bought lots of stuff... then we REALISED that we went to the WRONG place! Oh well... the other place was a tourist site... obviously, it means everything would be CHAO expensive... so.. good choice us!

12th Dec

Disneyland DAY!!! I spent it with Jessie... and we went on SOO many rides.. (half of which were quite NOT-worth going..) i mean.. the animation in DISNEY is fantastic! Especially the Winnie the Pooh ride... but still... i think im big enough for the more thrilling rides.. (:
I finally had the guts to ride the Big Thunder Mountain.. which turned out to be NOTHING... and space mountain was closed, splash mountain was gonna be TOO cold.. and the mini-coaster thingy was well... mini la.. Other mentionable rides were the go carts (which were fun cuz i got to improve my driving skills..) and the skyjets...(cuz.. they were in the SKY! o.0) Wheeee!! But the night was COLD... and my CAMERA died on me.. so this was the Day My Camera Died on Me (:

13th Dec

I had an exchange with Katakura High... Kinda uneventful except for a couple of unmentionable things that i found embarrasing and funny at the same time...And OHH the feeling that me and mel had when we had to do a combine piece with the band... and EVERYONE else was playing and we were staring at the score wide-eyed, open-mouthed and BLURRED. What made it 'better' was that the guy supposedly helping us was NOT helping AT all, and we were standing RIGHT in front of the Conductor... as in.. everyone in front of us was sitting and playing and we were there just.. killing ourselves... Mel's (sorta) exact words were "Digs Mud Hole" which i replied with "Can I join you?"

14th Dec

Today was like saving the best for last! Tokyo DisneySea had to be the BEST place I'd been to in Tokyo! The BEST rides were the 'Indiana Jones' ride and the 'Journey to the Centre of the Earth' even though the latter was kinda a rip-off... i think it deserved credit cuz it made me freak out even before i sat on the ride itself.. I really don't know what words there are to describe the day... i spent $300 that day... even had to borrow money from ping cuz i was out of CASH! And the (kinda) worst part was that everyone got a chip plushie playing games except me!! I even helped Ping get one! And i couldn't even help myself... ohh well... haha... the section even helped me play to get a plushie for me... i feel soo grateful! haha! It was raining that night... and the temperature DROPPED soo much... even 4 hot packs couldn't quench my coldness!!! Then eunice gave me some banana chewing gum that's soo delicious, even dione could smell it from where she was sitting (beside me la..) and i slept REALLY late that night packing my luggage... (while dione was snoozing peacefully on HER bed..)

15th Dec, I went home.. aww... sad sad... real sad... And u can ask Tiara and Joan how much I miss Japan.. they'll tell you for sure.. ((:

I miss Japan already!! DisneyLand, DisneySea and the Nagashima Spaland!!! 3 theme parks in all, 7 days of enjoyment and LOTS more friends, including seniors that I never knew could be SOO fun! Plus i learnt lots of stupid games.. hehe... like Black Magic and Bang Bang... and tricked Nicole and Dione with What's Next and Fuzzy Wuzzy.. lol! No one can believe the FUN i had... and i already feel like going back... Gek Teng told me on the plane that she wanted to go back, and we haven't ever reached S'pore yet...

Whoa... I'm SOO getting ahead of myself... i shall now give you a day by day EXCLUSIVE of what (I can remember) happened in japan..

1st Day (7th/8th Dec)

I went to the airport like almost one hour earlier.. so me, Kor, Mum n dad and Aunty Judy went to Burger King to eat... i ate chicken cheesesticks... After that we went to counter 7 and met the rest of the band and after checking-in our luggage and everything, i said bye to my family and went into the departure holding area..

In Nagoya, Japan

First thing I did when we got out of the plane was to check for signs of 'smoke'... u noe... the stuff that comes out of ur mouth when it's REALLY cold and you talk...or breathe.... anywaes there wasn't any.. meaning it wasn't cold enough... the weather was nice... gentle breeze... and the temperature was aircon-ish.. like i just stepped into a cold room...
We went sight-seeing to this garden place, then the Nagashima Spaland where i sat the 'White Cyclone' which was a friggin' scary rollar coaster that had SOO many sudden drops... i SCREAMED my lungs out.... i have a picture to prove it! Whee! For lunch, I ate rice and chicken with egg poured on it... simply Oishii!
Then we went to the hot springs place where we soaked our TIRED feet... ohh soo tired... haiz... the feeling was SOO SHIOKKsss...

We stayed at a resort.. 'Al Plaza Tsushima'... where there was 5-6 people in a room.. and ONE common bathroom which was supposed to be shared amongst 84 of us plus teachers...but the trombonists had a bathroom in our room!! Which means we needn't share with the rest!!! it was soo lucky!!

I think I'm really lucky, cuz firstly, I got the resort room with the bathroom, and then in Tokyo, Me and Dione (my roomie) got the bigger room then almost everyone else... hehe... im lucky...

9th Dec

Today was Kor Jerome's wedding (Which i missed la..) and instead, I had a concert exchange with Meridian Junior College (S'porean) and Aichi Meiden High School (Japanese)! We sang amazing grace and played Toccata, Rosa and Choo Choo... Including combination pieces of Pirates and Christmas Festival with MJ and then combining ALL 3 bands with Hands Across the Sea..

10th Dec

Today was my exchange with Aichi Meiden!!! It was SOOO funn!! I met this trombonist called 'Ayako' and she was SOO kawaii!! We ate this traditional Japanese food.. with rice balls and rice cakes.. it was alright.. 'aquired taste'... omg!!! that day was SUPER DUPER funness!!! And we talked about lots of things... and exchanged email addresses!!! Then we had combine with their conductor Mr. Yito (or Ito..not sure..) and the translator/assisstant conductor Mr. Kajiiyama (again.. not sure of spelling..) The conductor was SOO funny and interesting... while playing toccata, we have to imitate church organs...

on the 11th (Monday) We took a bullet train to Tokyo (bullet trains are SUPER fun!) where my second half of the trip commenced... and i shall continue later.. for now, I am feeling tired...

This is the entry i promised... the one i would give before I need to leave for my trip... technically, it's 14hrs and 14 mins to my trip... but im leaving for the airport in about 10 hours..

I'm TOO excited.. i can barely contain myself... after this, I'll prob go pack my on-board backpack...

I wanna thank Joan and Tiara and ShuYin and (ermm.. Mel, I guess..) for their really touching words... haha... it's great to know that people'll miss you... really great feeling... lol..

And after Joan mentioned me on her blog, I felt like crying...haiz... ok.. abit TOO emo.. but still, I realised how blessed I am that people I care for, care about me too... and I shall place down names of people I'll mis.. EVEN though it IS only a 7-day trip... hehe...

I have to make this short.. need to be in bed soon cuz there's band tml and i gotta awake @ 6.30am... 2 days to Japan! YAY!! I packed my entire luggage liaoz... doubt there's anything i forgot.. but haf to make sure on thursday... 2 days later @ this time, I'll be in the airport, checking in luggage and feeling BUBBLY... i shall try to blog in the day, before i leave for japan... so no WORRIES there...

Nothing much to say today actually... just blogging for the sake of blogging... i decided to give the class blog a makeover... afterall, it was looking WAYY too boring already.. it's not MUCH of a makeover... just a refresher... and i added a hit counter... so that i can keep track of people coming and going... WHOO...

I wanna change skins as well... this skin looks kinda boring already... shall change skins maybe after japan? When i CAN find the time... or if i feel like it... i dun wanna bother joan to make one for me.. so maybe i shall TRY making one on my own... Hmm... yea... maybe...

3 days and 5 hours LEFT

Read the title and SQUEAL for me! As it turns out... it's just a minor infection on my ear... VERY painful, but still kinda, sorta tolerable... and NOT enough to KEEP me from those boarding GATES... so CHEERS to moi!

Went to band after lunch today cuz i went to see my doctor... we finally got our shirt n jacket! I think it's too plain... but hey... it's the BAND'S... so YAY!

I was playing a game on Saturday Night (hehe...band song..) called 'Stick RPG'.. it's a kinda boring, quite cool, nice overall game that lets you control the life of a 'stick' figure... you can either make the stick real smart.. or real strong.. or real charming... the smartness is to get great jobs.. the strongness for fighting in bars (to get money la.) and the charm is for robbing the bank... of course i had to have it ALL ( MWAHahah...) so here's my score...

A total of $24 836 left... not bad considering the stick was alive for only 76 days... and he became a CEO, and robbed the bank TWICE.. by the way.. Diego Monte (pronounced dee-eh-go mon-tay) is just a name i made up cuz i didn't want some STUPID stick named after me... anywaes... to play the game.. just go to http://www.addictinggames.com/stickrpg.html and see if u can beat my score.. (after u've achieved everything.. it gets wayy too boring... so i had to kill myself... by fighting 5 consecutive people... and i died in DIGNITY (:

YAY! soo that's it... 3 days and 5 hours or 77 hours or 4620 minutes or 277, 200 seconds left to go... and as each second ticks by.. i get LESS excited and more dreaded... ohh POOH.

WEEKEND and all that crap..

It's 2 hours to Monday, 4 days to Japan, 17mins to Bedtime and my ear is giving me HEAPS of trouble... it HURTS soo much!! I really dunno what to do... and even eating is a PROBLEM. I swear, this close to the japan trip.. NOTHING is suppose to happen!!! So i think i did something real bad and now the big guy up there is punishing me... haiz...

Saturday turned out to be really fun... we got 83% for the competition! It's a GOLD award... and we got 2nd place for the Showmanship category! And here i thought we were gonna get REALLY bad or something... cuz our song was kinda... bleh-rish... and yea... ohh well..

The Musical Category was quite 'shocking'... the winner was Compassville... it was this story on some wartime romance thing... actually, the judges had to choose between that, and Yio Chu Kang' s prince charming story... this 'thing' on how a prince had to choose his princess... they were quite comical really... not very musical... belongs more to drama if u ask me... ohh... but if ms suneeta EVER saw that 'musical', she'll freak out and/or get a heart attack! haha...

During the interval, lian ping was doing this 'A is ... B is ... C is ... D is what?' GAH! I think im either retarded, or think too much complicated for my own good... anyways.. wee shan told me the answer... WAHH... i didn't really want anyone to tell me.. CHEATING MAH!!! but anywaes... thanks.. i think.. HEHE.. And then i learnt two more of these 'thinking' games...

Then today Annabelle did two more... Black Magic and the Number game.. but she couldn't do them much so i didn't learn the answer... GAHH... i NEED to FIGURE them OUT!!! I'm THAT kinda person... NEVER tell me things halfway... u either keep them AWAY from me, or tell me the WHOLE thing... never do it HALFWAY or i'll SCREAM bloody murder at my unknowing... INSERCURITIES much...

I have FINALLY packed about half of my LUGGAGE... and now im kinda freaking out that my EAR will cause me problems and i won't be able to go after all!!! NOOOOOOOOO!!! WAH. I'll cry. alot. alot alot. and tomorrow im going to the doctor's to figure it out... and im SOO scared... GAHH...

Melissa and I were playing this newly INVENTED game... it was derived from the black cow game thing that ping was playing... It's like.. if she does the 'Boing!' action, I must do the 'Gniob!' action.. and vice versa... it's STUPID, yes.. but idiots can play it EASY... cuz it's SO easy to pick up...

I have band tml and Wednesday... and HOPEFULLY nothing's wrong with me so i can complete packing by tuesday... PRAY for me, please? (:

FRIDAY madness!

It's Friday!!! And i am VERY high for a couple of things... firstly... JAPAN'S in 6 days!!!! And then tml is our COMPETITION.. (some music creative thingy..) and we're gonna PERFORM!!! YAY!!!! and the last thing is be high about? My blog is VERY much ALIVE!!!!

OK! I'm REALLY friggin' excited about japan.. (ain't that right, tia?) we just got our programme for the japan trip.... looks DAMN gorgeous (: only... i wonder who my roomie'll be... chances ARE.. it MIGHT be wan ting... WAHH... hmm.. actually she's really nice lar... it's just that, well... she's MUCH older than me... and we don't really talk much... haha... anywaes.. it looks like we're gonna be bunking in @ ard 12-ish midnight... so NOT much time for talking and stuff... ooh... and guess who's in my group too? the PERCUSSIONISTS! which means... dione and jessie... HAHA!! this is gonna be fun! yay! they're in my group! normally, when it's the three of us, it means that we're gonna be all CRAZY and stuff... soo yea... this trip's looking GREAT!

Mum says that Aunt Judy'll stay in my room when im gone... y'know.. the only thing BAD about the trip is that i'll be missing Kor Kor Jerome's Wedding! WAHH! My first cousin's wedding and im gonna miss it! That's bad... and cuz of tml's comp.. i won't be able to see Uncle Gerry and my baby cousin, Timothy! I haven't even MET him yet... soo... REAL shame.. i mean.. the ENTIRE family's gonna see him and me? I'm just.... GONE... not there...wooooh ):

Well, at least i can look forward to the trip! Let my hair loose and ENJOY myself! YAY! Hmm... well.. i can't seem to think about anything else to blog about.. so there... till i write again!
