A Love Philosophy

What is Love? No... I am not going to say it is kind.. gentle.. that you can find in the bible or something like that. Love for me is something you take for granted. I read this story just a few hours ago to pass time with. It was quite a nice story but there was something that bothered me in it.
In the story, the Prince is engaged to a Princess from the neighbouring country but he is in love with his maid. The Princess then asked her brother if he could 'fall in love' with said maid... actually this is pretty much the conversation between them..

Princess: do you think you could fall in love with her?
brother: Sure, why not? She's pretty.. It could be easy.
Princess: Thank you so much!

Really? It's like, falling in love is something as easy as baking apple pies. "Fall in love with her? Sure.. But I'm busy on saturday so Sunday'll have to do." Pretty weird don't you think?
For me, love is rare. Especially true love. And i mean the concentrated, red, melt-my-heart, love-me-to-death liquid that is found obviously in your heart. In your entire life, you might only find one person you will be willing to give that love to... Rarely two.

You may be saying: What about my family? I love them!
That is really a sort of 'diluted' love.. it is more of instinct love really. Which son hates his father to the core? Which daughter despites her mother to death? Which mother hates her child though she abandons said child. I am not kidding, even mums who abandon their children feel the love.. and obviously the guilt and pain. I am also not saying that you love your family only because you have to.. it's just not a 100% love. maybe a 90 or a 95.. rarely a 100...

Another part of my theory is this: You only get a cup of this thick crimson love in your life. your WHOLE life. Depending on the individual will the size of said cup vary. Some people may be ones who have alot of 'love' to give out. They are types who are instantly friendly, types who readily accept others who come into their lives unexpectedly. I am not saying that the love they give is 100% red syruppy goodness, they mix the love with all types of other emotions, making a kind of diluted love as i have said before. As you can plainly see, i based my theory on syrup. After all, who minds a cup of the nice drink once in a while? Syrup is sweet. THAT, is not my revelation, mind you. Syrup is nicer to drink when you add water. In that same way, Love is better accepted when mixed with a bit of other emotions. When you give your 100% to ANYONE, it also comes with pain, suffering and other not-so-nice things. If you thought love would be all suger and spice you obviously came from planet whatzammacallit.

That is pretty much my love philosophy? Enlightening? Hope so.

P.S. Just because I thot of this doesn't mean i'm in love.. I was reading the story then i came up with the theory in the bathroom. now, THAT is weird. =)

Updates

Well.. today was a blast.. like any other day.. whee.. i didn't eat much carbs.. hope that helps.. got chosen to play in the band concert.. feel indifferent. Am i weird? I think so... haiz... it's 3 minutes to my 9pm show.. of course i must watch it la.. yup.. anyways.. i guess i dun haf much to say.
playing the comp, watching tv.. bleahs... so 'much' to do eh.. i haven't even touched my heymath yet.. people even say there's more homework.. I noe one thing.
I'm dead. D-E-A-D. haiz...

gonna watch my show now.. chao.

Whee.. Phew..

I spent hours last night working on this layout.. it rocks doesn't it? lol..
hey.. don't belittle me.. this blog was very plain when i started okay.. i added the marquee.. the words.. the pictures.. it took me about 3 hrs to complete... haha..
Whosh! I am soo tired.. but it was worth it.. now i can go on to making blog skins! Whee!!
Ok.. I'm going to start on an entry mb later.. gonna 'enjoy' the fruit of my labour first. haha!
I still think this layout rocks.. whee!!

P.S. I can do html blogskins for people.. the only thing i need now is adobe photoshop! And since this IS the christmas season.. *hint hint*

haha! This is a quote from the best show i think i ever watched. For those guys who have been with Nickelodeon since it premiered on cable tv, you would know where this came from... or not... Its actual origin(i hope) was on All That; a show about a couple of crazy kids acting out funny sketches and hilarious stunts. It is still showing on Nick.. only the kids are different.. my guess is either the original stars grew too old... or they just got fired period.
This particular quote was in one of my favourite sketches... 'Vital Information by Loribeth Denburg'. She was hilarious and very quirky... Loribeth along with other stars like Kenan Thomson are the original stars on All That... Even tho i still luv watching that show.. A part of me will always miss the original...

Yukky Bloggie Stuffs.

Like.. I was suppose to be tagging earlier.. but unfortunately.. my brother decided it was 'Let's disturb stephanie!' time.. so i had to bail on writing then... anyways it was the second bro.. not the 'You shdn't eat at all if you can help it' older one.. haiz.. brothers.. they shd be called 'Pains'.
Anyway the first part of the entry was on All That... I just felt bored.. yup.. so there..
Speaking of pains..[im a jumpy sorta gurl, aren't i?] my bro pushed on my wrists' pressure points.. they were hurting like hell which explains the ice in the towel i haf next to me...[u can't even see it, can u?] So yea.. boring day.. i did my usual stuff.. woke up at 6.45 [actually i lazed ard till 7 b4 my eyes were fully open] to go jogging with mum.. man.. i hate jogging.. but i appreciate a fit body.. the latter kinda overrules the former duncha think? Yupp.. crazy world i live in.. my mum's threatening me now.. like.. 'Steph, no exercise, no chauffeur to drive u at school..' oh geez... great.
Meanwhile, I got into Drama.. good thing? bad thing? I haf no freaking idea.. ain't life just marvelous? Whee.. so anyways.. after that came the usual.. tv.internet.tv.internet. oh yea.. an hr's break for food of course.. im going au natural on meals.. slabbing on layers of tomatoes and lettuce for my breakfast sandwiches with only a single slice of meat to even everything out..

My parents think it's good of course.. wow.. veggies? cut down on carbs? YAY STEPHIE!!
Me? I'm just struggling not to ransack the fridges for stuff to fill my tummy.. disgusting.. Did i mention that Im still growing.. a quote frm dear ol' mum.. 'U can't diet yet.. too young.." A week later, she just stares at my plate... 'Steph? U should stop eating rice altogether..=)' ok.. she didn't say that... but it was on the borderline of 'Steph, stop eating and starve.' Same goes for the whole family..
Talk about Ironic.. they say 'Steph, eating too much isn't healthy.' 5 minutes after dinner they ransack the cupboard for chips. I'm sorry.. am i missing something here? Wow.. a whole load of talk about poor ol' me.. i haven't even grow out of the baby fat yet! Excruciatingly delightful, isn't it?
So wow.. Im pretty much done.. can't wait for HP:GOF to get out in cinemas.. im just dying to watch it.. literally.. haiz.. ok now.. I have to go..

Unfortunately... it's friday...

You know? I'm beginning to hate Saturdays.. It's ok.. it's a holiday thing.. it'll pass..
The only reason i ain't fond of saturdays come from the fact that there's band..
ok.. so i'm not as passionate as my bro at it.. but still.. im quite fine abt it..
only last saturday.. aft the whole incident.. im not too sure.. haiz..
i was thinking of quitting.. den i thot of my cca points.. den i thot of my bro and the ways in which he wld kill me.. den i stop thinking...
Yup.. I'm pretty much there where my bros are concerned.. not hoping for a knuckle sandwich thank you..
Besides.. I haf my Rite of Enrolment to worry abt... as if i haf absolutely nth else in the world to think of.. Stupid Annie and her stupid rules.. aagrh! Soo.. irritated.. I shan't get pissed.. cuz i had a good day 2day and i dun wanna ruin it by getting pissed.. bad karma n' all.. :)

Today...
Well.. to summarise it all.. I went to Orchard Cineplex with Anne and Joanie to watch Sky High...
To go into details...
ok.. We took the train to orchard but ended up losing our way.. in the end... we had to hitch a taxi to get to the cinema..
after we bought tics.. the trio went to KFC to eat popcorn chicken, cheese fries and drink stuff... joan paid for that.. -i paid for taxi-
Then we walked around abit till the neoprint shop opened.. anne paid for one round of neoprints.. -we took two rounds- it was pretty fun larrhs...
After that.. we bought movie snackies and went movie-watching!
Sky High's pretty cool.. It's abt dis boy who has no powers in the beginning of the show.. but he shd haf powers cuz' both his parents r like the world greatest super heros!
anyway u have to catch it!!
so yea... I guess it time 4 me to chao..

- I'm starting on a 'Be Fitter' thing.. REALLY hope it works.. hahars..
- Turning Sec 2 next yr.. Pray 4 me as i work harder next year.. haiz..
- Someone close to me recently passed on.. u can ask me if u want...[but dun be too direct lar]
- I downloaded a whole 'wardrobe' of songs.. haven't done that since... last yr? Yay Me!

Shows I watched
= Tong Xin Yuan 2 is a bit better than the first one i guess.. could be better tho.. haha.. hmm.. today's epi had me wondering.. is reality really that predictable?
= I decided to turn into an avid Star Idol watcher! Anyone catch the first epi? Haha! Those people that tried out really made me laugh!! Esp. those who made fools of themselves.. no offense.. just good clean.. laughter?
= Amazing Race anyone? Haiz.. When i heard that the Gaghan family was out [ too lazy 2 watch the ending so asked my mum who already watched it..], i was soo sad! not that i thot they wld win.. with 2 lil' kiddies in the grp.. the chances weren't exactly springing.. Anyways the only reason i rooted for them was b'cuz us 'lil' kiddies' had 2 stick 2gether.. lol..
= Ripley's Believe or not... soo cool.. yet sometimes it disturbs me.. i was watching the late night one..[only cuz' i COULD sleep late tho i was freakin' tired..] and it really freaked me out! haha.. a guy actually makes art by vomitting on his canvas! talk about Gross!!

Other Stuff
* I'm going to watch Sky High tml and Harry Potter on the 18th.. wow! I'm soo excited!! haha! esp. abt harry potter.. but i heard that sky high's a pretty cool show too..
* I'm probably going to malaysia or something like that.. yar.. haha
* Band's ok.. a bit stress-filled.. but.. ok..
